Abstract

Early adulthood is a transition period where individuals have thoughts related to what they will do in the future, one of which is education. In education there are several levels, one of which is college. Before entering this level, individuals must first determine the major they will choose. There are several factors that make individuals feel hesitant in determining their college major, one of which is parental considerations. The same thing is also experienced by children without fathers. This study, which uses a qualitative phenomenological method, aims to find out how children without fathers determine their college majors.
