Pengaruh Senam Aerobik Low Impact Dalam Menurunkan Kadar Gula Darah Tinggi Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Baki
Abstract
Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic condition characterized by chronic hyperglycemia due to insulin resistance. Diabetes management involves various approaches, one of which is exercise. Low-impact aerobic exercise is considered a safe and effective form of physical activity for individuals with diabetes, but its specific effects on blood glucose levels require further investigation.
Objective: This study aims to evaluate the impact of low-impact aerobic exercise on reducing blood glucose levels in individuals with T2DM.
Methodology: This study employs an experimental design without a control group. A total of [number] individuals with T2DM were randomly divided into two groups: an intervention group participating in a low-impact aerobic exercise program for 8-12 weeks. Blood glucose levels were measured before and after the intervention period using a glucose meter.
